A noted and social personlity of Lower Tanol, Baboo Muhammad Khawas Khan Tanoli was retired Inspector form Police department. In 1947 "Khawas Khan Tanoli was the firt person who opened first fire on Indian Army to declared the war against India." (Sardar Abdual Qayum Khan Ex-Priminister of AJK)
He remained the President of Retired Pencencier of Police Department and Civil Defence Department of Harzara Divisiaon about a period of 15 years.

KHAWAS KHAN was notable of Tanawal area of Abbottabad he had sereved in the Police Dept 34 years he was known for his professional competence, he was always helpfull to all and sundry, he died on 25th of August 2004, may Allah bless him.
